Vessel 097 - Dark Brown Stoneware with Glaze

Thrown in dark brown stoneware and layered with hand-carved textures, this vessel was finished in a coarse glaze applied in shifting densities. Post-firing, it was sanded back to reveal a patina that feels scorched—smoothed by time, but still holding the memory of fire.A study in contrast: raw yet refined, ancient yet immediate.
