This piece was born from a desire to balance distress and softness—something weathered yet organic. I wheel-threw the form and then altered it at the leather-hard stage to give it a more fluid, imperfect silhouette. The glaze is a layered mix of several formulations, resulting in rich texture and tonal variation that echoes erosion, bark, or earth. It’s meant to feel as though it could have been shaped by time itself.
