This vessel began on the wheel with a traditional red clay body—structured, centered, and balanced. From there, it took a more intuitive path: pulled, stretched, and shaped entirely by hand to embrace imperfection and motion. The matte black glaze, layered to reveal texture and depth, lends a sense of age and gravity—almost as if the piece has lived another life.
